Virginia Amateur Sports and the Virginia Commonwealth Games are proud to champion inclusivity by expanding our sport offerings to welcome athletes of all abilities, including those with physical and intellectual disabilities. Our mission is rooted in the belief that every athlete deserves the chance to compete, celebrate their achievements, and create lasting memories through the joy of sport.

While these initial events mark an exciting beginning, they’re just the start. Our vision is to grow the Able Games year after year—adding more sports, more opportunities, and more unforgettable experiences for these incredible athletes.
