Virginia Amateur Sports has worked with HBC Event Services and local hotels to block rooms at discounted rates throughout the playing area for the 2026 Virginia Commonwealth Games at Liberty University. VA Commonwealth Games is proud to announce a partnership with HBC Event Services. To better serve our SPORT community during tournaments, a “Support the Sport” format has been implemented. With competitive rates and customer service representatives available 24/7, HBC Event Services makes booking your tournament lodging experience seamless.
“Support the Sport" establishes a tight partnership between the VA Commonwealth Games hotels, coaches, teams, and parents. Our primary mission for the “Support the Sport” events is to provide greater support to the local Richmond community and ensure priority bookings at “competition facilities” (‘convention centers’, ‘sports complex’ etc.) for future tournaments.

It is highly encouraged that ALL team participants book their housing accommodations through HBC Event Services. This includes everyone in your travel party: players, family members, friends, etc.
Finally, you have the ability to purchase a Travel Protection Plan with up to 100% reimbursement for non-refundable trip costs for covered cancellation reasons, like event cancellation, as well as a Cancel for Any Reason benefit of 75% coverage of your unused non-refundable prepaid expenses for travel arrangements you paid for your trip, including the event registration costs. All non-commuting teams participating in the tournament are EXPECTED to make all hotel accommodations using our tournament housing services. Please do not call the hotels directly.
