Join us for a premier multi-day archery competition at the Saint Gertrude Outdoor Athletic Center in Henrico, Virginia. This weekend features a variety of competitive formats suited for archers of all levels, from youth categories to senior and master divisions.

TIME

Check-in & Practice: Practice begins at 9:00 AM each day, with official scoring starting at 9:30 AM.

Requirements: All competitors must have a current USA Archery membership (temporary memberships are available for single-event participants).
 

Registration & Combined Pricing

Participants can tailor their weekend based on their schedule and competitive goals:

  • Friday 900 Round Only: $45

  • 72 Round - Single Day (Sat or Sun): $45

  • 72 Round - Full Weekend (Sat and Sun): $60

  • Full Weekend Bundle: Archers who register for the Friday 900 Round are eligible for a $20 discount on the Saturday/Sunday event.

Event Schedule

Friday, July 10: 900 Round

The weekend kicks off with a 900 Round, consisting of 30 arrows shot at each of three different distances.

  • Format: 90 points possible at three distances per category.

  • Target Distances:

    • U13: 25m, 20m, 15m

    • U15: 40m, 30m, 20m

    • U18: 50m, 40m, 30m

    • U21: 60m, 50m, 40m

    • Senior & Master: 60m, 50m, 40m

  • Fee: $45

Saturday & Sunday, July 11–12: 72 Arrow Qualification

The second portion of the weekend features a standard 72 Arrow Qualification Round (12 ends of 6 arrows). This is a flexible event designed to help archers achieve their best possible ranking.

  • Flexible Format: Archers can choose to shoot on Saturday, Sunday, or both.

  • Ranking: For those participating in both days, only your highest single-day score will be used for the final rankings.

  • Target Faces:

    • Compound and Fixed Pins: 80cm faces.

    • Recurve and Barebow: 122cm faces.

  • Distances: Archers will shoot at official USA Archery competition distances (e.g., 70m for Senior Recurve, 50m for Senior Compound).

             


 

                            

 

 




























REGISTRATION CATEGORIES 
YOUTH AGE CLASSES:
Participants may compete as:
“U13” (previously known as Bowman) through the calendar year of their 12th birthday.

“U15” (previously known as Cub) through the calendar year of their 14th birthday.
“U18” (previously known as Cadet) through the calendar year of their 17th birthday.
“U21” (previously known as Junior) through the calendar year of their 20th birthday.

SENIOR AND MASTER AGE CLASSES:
Participants may compete as:
“Senior” at any age.

“50+” (previously known as Master 50) when the competition takes place in the year of their 50th birthday and thereafter.
“60+” (previously known as Master 60) when the competition takes place in the year of their 60th birthday and thereafter.
“70+” (previously known as Master 70) when the competition takes place in the year of their 70th birthday and thereafter.

MERCHANDISE
2026 Virginia Commonwealth Games merchandise will be available for purchase at various locations and online.


AWARDS

Awards will be presented on Sunday afternoon once all scores are finalized. Gold, silver, and bronze Commonwealth Games medals will be awarded in each category and division
