In 2011, Subway of Virginia was proud to announce the signing of a multiyear partnership agreement with Virginia Amateur Sports as the title sponsor of the Commonwealth Games, now officially known as The Subway Commonwealth Games of Virginia.

Proud of the partnership with Subway, Pete Lampman, President of VAS, says, "Because the Games help promote health, fitness and well-being for families and communities across Virginia, the partnership is a perfect fit.
